Itzulia Basque Country, Itzulia Women and Clásica San Sebastián announce official 2026 dates

  • Itzulia Basque Country: 6 – 11 April
  • Itzulia Women: 15 – 17 May
  • Clásica San Sebastián: 1 August

The organization of the Itzulia has officially confirmed the dates for its three major cycling events for the upcoming season. The calendar will begin with the Itzulia Basque Country, taking place from April 6 to 11, 2026, bringing together the best teams in the international peloton for one of the most prestigious stage races on the WorldTour calendar.

Just one day after the professional race concludes, cycling fans will get the chance to experience the thrill firsthand with the Itzulia Basque Challenge, the official Itzulia sportive, scheduled for April 12. Participants will be able to ride some of the same roads and climbs that will have decided the professional race.

The excitement will continue in spring with the Itzulia Women, set to take place from May 15 to 17. The women’s race, already a key fixture on the UCI Women’s WorldTour, will once again deliver three intense days of top-level racing across the Basque Country.

The season will reach its grand finale with the Clásica San Sebastián, held on August 1. This traditional summer race will once again fill the streets of Donostia with fans and atmosphere, maintaining its reputation as one of the most iconic one-day races in international cycling.

With these dates, the organization reaffirms its commitment to promoting cycling in the Basque Country and to strengthening the international profile of events that combine sporting excellence, spectacle, and the passion of an unmatched cycling culture.
