- TotalEnergies Electricidad y Gas will repeat its sponsorship of the Grand Prix and present the trophy to the winner of the race, to be held on 30 July in Donostia-San Sebastián and the surrounding area.
- The energy company is firmly committed to sponsoring sporting activities, as it believes that the promotion of sport – in this case, cycling – contributes to improving people’s quality of life and general well-being.
TotalEnergies Electricidad y Gas will participate in the 41st edition of the Clásica de San Sebastián as a sponsor of the Grand Prix. The gas and electricity supplier will award the trophy to the winner of the cycling race, which will be held on 30 July in San Sebastian and the area surrounding the capital of Gipuzkoa. This is the second consecutive edition in which TotalEnergies is linked to the Clásica San Sebastián.
This sponsorship enables the Clásica San Sebastián to maintain one of its key supporters for another year. “It is very important for us that TotalEnergies continues to support this collaboration, that it wants to associate its brand with the Clásica San Sebastián”, commented Julian Eraso, president of OCETA the race organiser, who went on to add that “the commitment is firm, and we hope we can continue to work together in future and for the other races we organise”.
The multi-energy company frames this sponsorship as part of its firm commitment to support activities linked to one of its main values, proximity, and in this context sporting activities play a special role. “Sport is one of the key areas we are going to sponsor. We believe that promoting healthy activities that improve health, well-being and quality of life is fundamental”, explained Juan José Fernández Gómez, Head of B2C direct sales and North Zone Alliances at TotalEnergies. “For us, this is a very relevant activity, which enables us to materialise our commitment to the community in which we operate in the form of concrete action that improves people’s lives,” he added.
